Sad news for ex-Shark

News broke today that the wife of Dominic Moore, who after coming to the Sharks at the trade deadline late last season was mostly ineffective as a checking line forward, lost her battle with liver cancer.  Moore was not re-signed by San Jose after the season, but he has a lot more than hockey to cope with right now.

Katie Moore's illness was disclosed just after the season ended, putting in perspective the struggles Moore had on the ice after he was added from Tampa Bay. Keep the Moore family in your thoughts.

About Me

Chris Cocoles
I am a longtime sports reporter and editor who is trying to get back into full-time duties somewhere. In the interim I am blogging about two of my favorite teams: The A's and Sharks. I'm mostly focusing on these two teams simply because they don't get as much attention as other franchises in the Bay Area.
